So I know I haven't posted anything for a while, but I am going to try to blog some of my photos over the next few weeks. We finally got Aperture this weekend, and we got our new Intel iMac so now I should be able to go through my photos easier, and edit them as I see fit. This group of photos is from Snoqualmie Falls in Snoqualmie (near North Bend). We had wanted to go out and take photos, but it was raining. I decided, lets go to the falls regardless. Last year when we took a trip out there during one of my visits everyone said it was a dry year and normally there is a whole lot more water in the falls, so I decided that we needed to go again. Because of the rain and mud we didn't hike down to the bottom, but I still got some great photos with my new 18-200mm lens with Vibration Reduction that I got as my early birthday present.
This first one I took as an afterthought on our way back to the car, and it is one of my favorites.
Waterfalls behind the BranchesThis second one is of the bottom of the falls where the falling water hits the pool of water at the bottom.
The Bottom of the FallsHere is a picture of the top of the waterfalls. I love the way you see the texture on the rocks next to the water.
